Are you and your guild ready for Warlords of Draenor?

Its always exciting when an expansion comes out for your favorite game, and a new World of Warcraft expanion is no exception.  I'm sure you've read news, countless patch notes, articles, any anything else you can get your hands on.  You're ready for launch night, but is your SITE ready?  Is your GUILD ready?  Below are a few tips to jumpstart your WoW community for launch day.

Turn on the countdown widget

We want to make sure you know exactly when WoD drops, so you and your guild can jump in and rule Draenor. Get the widget added and start coordinating.

Update your template

A new expansion means new adventures, stories, content to experience.  Your site should be no different, its time for a fresh coat of paint.  We have more templates coming as well, so be on the look out.

Encourage your site Owner or Admin (or if you are one, get started!) to update to one of our new WoD templates.  Its easy to do, and the URL below will guide you:

Invite your community back to the site

The last thing a good salesman does after a pitch, is ask you to buy the item - communities work the same way. Reach out to your existing members either via mass PM or Newsletter.  Tell them about all your great plans, remind them of the amazing times you all had together, and finally, close the sale by asking them come back and join up.

Content is king, make sure you have fresh content

Have you ever gone to a site and thought it was dead due to lack of activity?  Don't let this happen to you.  Start making forum posts your returning and existing members will respond to.  Here are some suggestions:

• Collectors Edition or Standard Edition?
• Where did you pre-order your copy of WoD?
• What is the first character you will level to 100?
• Who is going for server first?
• FOR THE HORDE!!!!
• Why doesn't the Alliance have a proper phrase yet?
• What will you do during the week leading up to release?

Get your members to interact via events

We just revamped our calendar so there is no better time to engage your community with events.  Here are some event ideas your community can sign up for:

• Launch time: Get in and play!
• Naked Gnome Run through Orgrimmar: Take a little break from the grind.
• Our First WoD Heroic: Make sure you're geared.
