I keep getting this message with trying to enter my site.
Your connection is not private.
Attackers might be trying to steal your information.
Maybe it will clear up on its own.
This should definitely not be happening for you! I've checked on my end and I do not see either of those messages. My best guess is they're triggering a false positive. McAfee allows you to report these so that they manually check if it is a false positive.
You can also see that McAfee does not have any warnings listed when you look us up with their site lookup tool: https://sitelookup.mcafee.com/en/feedback/url
If you could provide any more information, it can help me investigate. Have you always gotten this "Your connection is not private" message? Does it only happen on specific pages? What browser are you using?
I paused my anti-virus Kaspersky, downloaded Malwarebytes, and had the same results as my guildmate where it says that Gamer Launch sites contain malware/malicious activity. I uninstalled Malwarebytes and tried to access gamerlaunch.com again and it seems that the Malware Browser Guard browser extension is what is tagging/finding the site as malicious as it was still installed even after Malwarebytes was uninstalled.
Not sure if this is related, but I then used urlvoid.com to check Gamer Launch and it came back with 1 out of 40 results saying there's a threat: https://www.urlvoid.com/scan/gamerlaunch.com/
CRDF on this list says a threat detected, but then when I clicked to view more details it says gamerlaunch.com has no threats.
Anyways, I hope maybe something here helps and we can get our Malwarebytes using people enjoying Gamer Launch. Someone at Gamer Launch could easily recreate my test if it helps
Thank you so much for the report! This helps a ton. I've reached out to malwarebytes to start tracking this down.
You're right, it's this CRDF group that has us marked, but then their site is essentially non-functioning. I can't submit a report to them and I cannot scan URLs. It's like it's an abandoned website at this point.
I will let you guys know when we've made progress on this.
