Your certificates have expired
For those less brave (or dim :P ) than me .. your support forums are currently inaccessible. Do you not have a recurring event set up (or perhaps something that automatically renews) for your site certificates?
"Web sites prove their identity via certificates, which are valid for a set time period. The certificate for www.gamerlaunch.com expired on 03/02/2023."
Thank you. I only noticed it because another user PM'd me, but now there appears to be a lot less ways of communicating issues (ie, email, facebook, twitter, "chat" icon on websites no longer seem to be valid routes), when the forums go down, that's essentially your users cut off.
Is there a possibility of increasing the accessibility of support, if needed (especially bearing in mind that you guys appear to be becoming one of the few hosting services left that have some history behind you).
Thank you Posionenvy and thank you GL_Frothy for the response.
I also agree with a better pathway to communication. My guild is a new user and we have already put a lot of work into transferring our information from Enjin.
Please be kind and let me know if we are looking at another site close down before we get too established. Forgive me if I sound over dramatic, but this difficulty in communication is what we were getting from Enjin and it brings on some anxious feelings.
I know the security certificate is an easy fix and easy to miss, but unfortunately it happened when we are trying to get all our members reregistered on Gamer Launch. My guild members are very hesitant to join with the messages they are getting.
Chronologically gifted is the name of my guild and our members are 40 to 80+. Our average age is around 58. We want and need a safe haven both in our game and in social media. They trust me to provide security and privacy as we have become a gaming family.
Thank you for understanding, and for getting to the problem in a timely manner.

Hey Candi,
I'll go ahead and give my work email, this is the most guaranteed way I can imagine giving you guys access to support.

Feel free to shoot me an email any time you need anything! This extends to anyone who reads this thread, feel free to reach out.
To give you confidence in our longevity, we've been up and running for 16 years and we have no plans of stopping. Places like Enjin have come and gone, we've been here all that time. I would also like to add that, at this point, GamerLaunch is basically my baby, I'm the one who feels the anxiety and get some sweat on my forehead when something goes wrong on GL that I need to fix. I'm trying to think of how to word it haha. There's a real human here on the other end who cares. The reason I am here is because I have also spent the last 16+ years running WoW guilds. I'm here for the same reason many of you are here. Hopefully that expresses what I'm trying to say well lol.
As for the Certificate issue, it's definitely not ideal the way we have let them lapse, but we always get it back up quickly. I've started keeping much closer track of expiration dates recently and I should be able to stay ahead of them going forward.
I hope we can be your gaming safe haven! Please let me know if you need anything.
Brian,
Thank you so much for your reassuring reply. You had me with "There's a real human here on the other end who cares." That belief is what we try to practice in our guild.
We are back in the business of transferring over for now. I will be pointing your way in the Enjin Forums :)

My site is telling me that it is Not secure. Your connection is not private. Is this a certificate issue?
My url is cafetwentyone.guildlaunch.com
It is working now. I have had that Guildlaunch url for years. Anyways, Thanks for fixing it. :) PS, Can you make the reCAPTCHA more easier? Clicking 10 times different images is insane.
You're getting that recaptcha when trying to post on these forums? I'll have to look into why, I only get the check box version of recaptcha.
Went to submit this reply, I'm typing this now on mobile (almost never do this from mobile) and I just got the images select recaptcha. Interesting. I'll need to look into it more what triggers the images vs the simple check box.
